Open cage salmon farming, where personal work met activism and editorial. What began as personal work, to document the impacts of open cage salmon farming in Scotland, has become a speciality of mine in its own right as public interest has exploded in this form of hyper intensive farming. I now shoot regular features and supply images and video for editorial. In 2018 I captured ground breaking images from inside the cages of a salmon farm and a large burial site for stock that died in disease outbreaks.
